This restaurant is NOT baby friendly!! We just went there this morning and waited for a table. They told us to sit at a table that wasn't cleared off. I enjoyed sitting down and staring at someone else's food. My 4 month old was in a carseat. I tried to put her in the booth, but it wasn't wide enough. I put her on the floor as far under the table as I could. There was still room to walk by. The waitress came over and was not nice to us. Told us that having her on the floor wasn't safe. If she wasn't so rude about it, I would have been understanding. I would have taken her carseat to the car and held her, but not after being spoken to in a rude manner. We immediately left and people waiting in line asked why we were leaving. I told them that we were basically told we had to leave. I will never be back, and I will be sure to let the moms in my playgroup know that it's not baby friendly. — Anonymous Reviewer

We eat here frequently and it is ALWAYS busy and bustling. My kids love it as do we. It's a cozy, authentic, hometown diner. A nice local hang out for a decent meal. The hot roast beef with gravy is super good and the french fries are nice and crisp! — Anonymous Reviewer

I see quite a few negative reviews on this site and that is a bit of a let down because this location is a diner, and by no means is it meant to be fine dining. Its a small location but the food that I have had from here is quite good, Not great, but good and that is all that it was ever supposed to be in my opinion. So if you are looking for a semi quick, cheap meal this is the place to be. — Anonymous Reviewer

We eat here frequently and it is a diner that caters to locals... We were treated better after they got to know us and see us frequently. Food is okay: Never had a bad breakfast item (Kind of like the Navy, its hard to screw up a breakfast item!) Otherwise I can recommend the Hamburger and other sandwiches and of course the fries. I have had the ribeye steak a couple of times and it really depends on who is in there cooking. Once was perfect, and another time it was less than perfect: still it ain't a steakhouse, is it? If you are looking for fine dining and atmospher go to old town, its just a couple of blocks. — Anonymous Reviewer

I haven't had much luck with this diner. It is very convenient so I have tried it a few times hoping for a better experience but unfortunately not. My order has been wrong about half the time. I'm still confused as to how mac and cheese and rice can be considered their vegetable sides. Food is super cheap, as is the quality but I guess you get what you pay for. — Anonymous Reviewer

I went to this diner based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on this site. maybe I just went on a bad day, but this was one of the WORST restaurant experiences ever. I got the roast beef dinner with a "salad"- a plate of lettuce with a few shredded carrots, one cucumber slice, and one slice of tomato. the salad dressing was warm. gross.

then, the roast beef came. if you want to call it that. only about 10% of it was edible- the rest was pure fat. the mashed potatoes were clearly instant . . . and disgusting. still starving, I ordered a $3 slice of "home made" cake- which I found a couple hours later in the bakery section of Costco.

then, the kicker- two women at the cash register, both of whom had no idea how to work a credit card machine. I'm waiting to check my debit card activity to verify I was charged twice as the lady who swiped my card believed she had to swipe it again to add the tip. then I had to ask for a copy of my receipt as she wasn't going to give me one. I'll need something to prove what was authorized when I wind up with multiple $20+ charges to my checking account!

worst. experience. ever. I spent the rest of the afternoon profusely apologizing to my fianc — Anonymous Reviewer
