Brewbakers Restaurant, I met my beautiful bride at this wonderful downtown eatery. "It is more than a place to grab a good meal" It is a "Winchester tradition" that has seen laughter, life and the most important love. For over a hundred years that building has been a gathering spot for families "mine included" since the early seventies. I hope my wife and I can be like the Pennsylvania couple that were in their late eighties. They came every year to celebrate the day they got married in Winchester in the early Forties. I would like to thank Brewbakers for the continued memories and of course the shrimp bisque.

Been here a half dozen times over the last couple years. Every time I go i wonder more and more how this place remains open and popular. Food is greasy standard bar food. Nothing special or really that good. The fridge behind the bar is cool, but other than that this place is just bleh....

I used to love this place. But the addition of the new back area has attracted a pretty undesirable crowd. The kind of people that show up here on the weekends now are pretty out of control. Not to mention the constant arguments and fights. I hate to say it since I've come here for years, but I'd rather hit the Brew Pub.

My name is Hillary Dovel and I am the Entertainment Manager at Brewbakers. We take our customer reviews very seriously because we know that without you, there is no us. I fully understand the concerns that you have stated in this review and want you to know that we are doing everything we can to provide an outstanding experience for all of our guests. Since this review has been posted, we have made several changes. We have established a zero tolerance policy toward violence here at Brewbakers. If you have a fight in our restaurant you will not be allowed back. No exceptions. We have moved our Saturday night bands from the front of the restaurant into the back room to provide a quieter environment for those who would like to come in for dinner and conversation, while at the same time providing lots of room and a dance floor for our guests that want to enjoy live music. We are trying to provide more diverse entertainment so that we have a broader appeal and, hopefully, something that everyone will enjoy. Again, we would like to thank you for your feedback and look forward to the opportunity to once again become your favorite place to go!
