Went there for a late lunch right before Christmas 2013. There were obviously several Christmas parties going on and we were afraid that we would experience slow and inattentive service because of it. Not the case. This was a celebration lunch for us so I got the Flo's filet with the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese and my lunch partner got a sirloin with stuffed shrimp. Both were very good. We both got green salads and they were crisp and fresh and the blue cheese dressing obviously homemade. The steaks both were excellent and the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese to die for. The stuffed shrimp were good but not as good as the mac and cheese. We had no issues with the service even though the place was busy. I would go back. — Anonymous Reviewer

Had lunch with the family on a Fri afternoon. Jared A was our server. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Chicken strips were real chicken and not processed nuggets like most places offer. — Anonymous Reviewer

This place has given me terrible service the 3 times I have dined here. The first two were when it first opened, so I chalked that up to that they were new and still all getting the hang of it. Basically I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went there for lunch with my coworkers months after the opening and was again treated terribly. There was only 2 other tables in the store and we waited 30 minutes for our drinks, 15 for our waitress to even notice that we had been sat. After we got our drinks, we were able to keep her around long enough to tell her we were ready to order. It than took us 40 minutes to receive our food (which was sandwiches, soup and 2 had ordered rare steaks) all of which shouldn't have taken more than 20! When we finally hunted down the manager, which we had to ask the bartender, he magically appeared with our food in seconds. Well should I say, cold food. And every food order was put in wrong, with missing dishes. We didn't have time to complain because we were already over our hr lunch. We then explained to the waitress when she happened to find our food the same time as the manager that we needed out checks ASAP, she disappeared for 25 minutes and then started our checks. She stood right near us as we complained about the terrible food, ridiculously bad service, and the rude manager we encountered. We had explained exactly how to do our checks, everyone was separate, and she messed up every single ticket. So totaling up her time to redo our checks 3 times, another 30 minutes. She even added the tip automatically! I understand that with a group check over 5 or 6, they have too. My understanding was that individual checks you do not. Either way, why would I tip someone that didn't even pay us a bit of attention?! Waitresses (and waiters) receive awful base pay! That's why we tip, to insure prompt service. Why would I tip her if she didn't do anything for us. She knew we would get our tips automatically thrown in so she didn't even care what happened to us. After not eating lunch, and almost losing my job (along with half my coworkers) I will never return here and I hope no one goes here and gets treated this way. Worse service I have ever received anywhere. Dirty Dicks even treated me better! — Anonymous Reviewer

Went to the Winchester location for the 1st time Sat for a late lunch/early dinner. We have previously been to the one @ Dulles Town Center. Was seated quickly. My son dropped the bottle of A1 on the floor breaking it and spilling sauce all over. The staff was really nice about it and clleaned it up right away. Flo's Filet was excellent, as always. The kids meal hot dog was not good. After tasting it myself I realized why my son wouldn't eat it. Will return again and am very happy you are now closer to home. — Anonymous Reviewer

We went here on a Saturday with the kids for dinner! We had to wait about 45 minutes for our food to arrive! The food was okay but def. not the best! My husband got the filet and lobster, the filet had to be sent back and recooked and the lobster he gave to my son. My son ate 2 bites of it and asked me to taste it. It did not taste right at all! Later that night he was up throwing up! My opinion it was the lobster! We will not be going back again! We can go to Outback and get a better steak for the same price without all the wait!!! — Anonymous Reviewer

As a new/popular restaurant in Winchester, you should expect a longer than normal wait if you visit Longhorn during peak business hours. On Friday night, my family of 5 arrived at 5PM and we were seated without a wait. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us regularly throughout our meal and paid close attention to our drink refills (which is pretty big too me). My wife had the flat iron steak and while she orders her steak on the rare side, I must say that it was excellent. My full rack of ribs was tasty and quite filling. I would have liked an option of a dry rub on my ribs but the wet BBQ sauce was pretty good. The 3 kids meals were large for my children so unlike other restaurants, the kids did not finish their meals well before me.

I was very satisfied with this visit and plan on going back again. I must note that by the time we left at 6:15, the lobby was jammed and I'm sure the wait time was easily over 30 minutes. If planned properly, you can easily avoid this long wait.

Tried the restaurant for dinner. Service was slow. Food was average and overpriced. Sweet tea was not sweet enough, had to add additional sugar. We had to ask and wait for drink refills. We won't be returning. — Anonymous Reviewer

Five of us ordered salads and soup, took 45 minutes of waiting and questioning where the food was for it to come out. By this point we had to leave because our lunch hour was up and told them when they bring the food out to please bring it in to-go containers...it came out in standard serving dishes.

When the to-go containers FINALLY came out, they were so small that it took four containers to put one salad in it. Poor, poor experience . . . save your time, energy, and go to Outback if you want a good experience at a chain steakhouse in the area.
