First visit to Swirls this morning for breakfast. I had the large french toast breakfast meal that included two large slices of french toast, three strips of bacon and a decaf coffee. The meal was very tasty. I thought the french toast was perfectly grilled and the bacon was large - not the small shriveled up stuff you'll find at Denny's. Service was very good as my waitress checked up on me and refilled my drink without me needed to ask. Swirls has a small town feel and a old fashioned throwback atmosphere. I definitely recommend this establishment & plan on a return trip to give the lunch menu a try. Only reason I didn't rate this a '5' was because I thought for the size of order, it was a little pricey for dinner food.

Complete disappointment. The food itself wasn't bad, but also wasn't that great either and seemed a bit pricey for what it was. But the big reason I'm leaving one star was the service. The lady serving us seemed annoyed that we had even shown up and not once smiled at us. They seemed more concerned about boxing our food to go and cleaning up around us, as they were due to close in 30 minutes. I was rudely informed of this when I asked how long they were open because my brother wanted to join us. I am all about supporting local business, but I don't know how they expect to make it on bad attitudes and turning business down so it doesn't inconvenience their schedule by a few minutes. Also, the man in charge seemed completely engrossed in his Ipad and didn't even hear me when I spoke to him. I work in a restaurant, and I know what kind of service guests deserve, because I give it daily. I felt terrible for leaving the lady a bad tip, but I was so upset by the time I left that I wasn't sure if I felt terrible for leaving a bad tip or felt terrible because I left a tip at all.

Swirls has reopened!! The inside has been rejuvenated and the menu remains basically intact. Welcome back, Steve!!!!

I had breakfast at Swirls this morning for the first time. It was very pleasant and cozy. The inside is quite small, but the service is great. The food is simple & straight forward, but priced a teeny bit high. I ordered a bacon & egg sandwich with a cup of tea for $7. Not bad, but not exceptional value.
Overall, it was like waking up and eating at your parents' kitchen counter, in a good way.

I admit this is not the old Swirls we became so comfortable with, but it's still a good place to eat and the new owner has some new and unique specials that are very good. Most of the menu has remained in tact for those of us who have trouble adjusting to change. I would recommend you give it a chance and decide for yourself.

Stopped in for breakfast, not close to what it used to be. No other customers ( you can see why) our order was very slow in arriving. Eggs, toast, bacon & coffee was way over priced. Over $7.00!! Definitely will not be back.

My family and I stopped here for milkshakes recently, and we all agreed that they were the best we had ever had. They were made with good quality ice cream and mixed with just the right amount of milk. We'll definitely be back.
