I have lived in winchester all my life and when our beloved 220 went out of business, we were heart broken. When a neighbor told us about the auce crablegs @ Jimmy`s we were excited!
It shoud have been called all u CAN'T eat!
I called before hand to make a reservation for 6PM. We arrived 20 minutes early and were told they had no open tables by the RUDEST HOSTESSES we had ever come across and that we would have to wait in the lounge (which REEKED of urine). Honestly we peeked in the dining roomband there WERE tables! We should have ran then but we stayed. To be seated @ a table 20 min later in the. Middle of the dining room no biggie but no lie we were walked by for 25 minutes before anyone aknowledged our presence.

The best crab legs in Town. A very old restaurant if you are fimiliar with the Winchester area. Recently I found out about their all you can eat seafood. My past visits were only positive so I thought that I would give their seafood a try. The crab legs were very meaty and very hot. I love the oysters and steamed shrimp. Thumbs up for a great meal. I will definitely will be back for more crab legs

No, no, no, no, no. I will not be going back here to eat. My husband and I decided to try Jimmy's since we were in the mood for seafood and wanted to try some where we have never been before. As soon as you walk in there was a old hotel smell and the carpet was stained and very worn. The service was ok. The food was horrible. I feel like I could have just as easily shopped in the frozen food isle at the grocery store and had just as good of a meal....if not better. We shared the seafood chowder for an app - it was way too thick like spaghetti sauce and I think it came from a can. My husband got the fried seafood platter and I got the stuffed shrimp imperial. Nothing had very much taste at all other than grease. There was this gross spicy mayo tasting stuff on my shrimp. I hated paying $50 for that meal. The only think my husband liked was the cornbread but even that I wasn't very impressed with.

My husband and I have driven by Jimmy's several times and finally decided to give it a try. My first observation of the restaurant was that it had a lot of potential in it's appearance, but somehow fell short. We ordered the prime rib to share since we also wanted seafood. The prime rib and a good flavor, but nothing remarkable. My crab stuffed shrimp was okay, however the imperial sauce tasted like mayo. My husband ordered the crab legs and they were overcooked and the butter had a metallic flavor to it. The coffee was the best part of the meal, which isn't saying much. We will not be dining there again.

The last time I was at Jimmy's I found myself losing my appetite. There was a dog barking the entire time from inside the restaurant and I felt sorry for the girls working because they had to deal with the dog. Don't get me wrong I am a dog lover, but when I go out to eat the last thing I want to hear is a dog barking not even five feet from my table. The service was good, but the food was cold and my steak got sent back two times for not being cooked properly. I have my reservations about going back to Jimmy's. Not sure that I will ever eat there again, and the table eating next to me was upset as well, like myself they thought the service was great, but the food was lacking and the dog was barking, not fun sorry.

Meals have always been good here. This restaurant has been around for a long time and is still one of Winchesters best.
