Flavors were good, as was the service. Prices were reasonable. Decor is one of the better ones in Winchester. Overall solid meal.

Had lunch here yesterday for the first time. We enjoyed the lunch special of the day, which was a penne pasta dish. We are taking friends back next week. The food was fresh and just perfect! So glad you found this little gem!

Wife and I had dinner here a couple of nights ago and I wish I would have tried Wyld Thyme sooner. The meal was outstanding, Filet Sole and wife had NY strip, and the lobster bisque was a great starter. Will definitely be dining here more often.

This is the finest dining place in Winchester. Farshad and Caroline are great. The food is exceptional and the wine list is like no other in the valley.
This is our place!

My wife and I have visited here twice now -- once for lunch and once for dinner -- and all we can talk about is how much we can't wait to go back again. The food is simply the highest quality and best tasting food in the area. (I had to ask where the chef got his vegetables, because they were so much better than anything I'm finding in the local grocery stores.) The service is incredibly polite, efficient and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing with a fantastic looking wine bar.
My only complaint is that lunch is not offered more days in the week. It seems that whenever we're out in town and looking for a tasty lunch, it's on one of the days they're closed. But, if good things come to those who wait, then phenomenal things come to those who have to wait for a different day to enjoy their lunch.

My wife and I ate here last night. WOW! It was a great experience and we both agree, this ranks on or near the top of our favorite places for fine dining in Winchester.
We started off with Southwest Black Bean Corn Cakes topped with Jumbo Shrimp. This was fantastic! The black beans and corn work really well together and the shrimp and sauce were fabulous. My wife had the Pork Tenderloin Scaloppini as her main course and I had the Corvina.
The Pork was very delicious. The pecans provided a nice woody flavor while the apricots added sweetness. All of the flavors worked very well together and equally done. It was paired with veggies and red potatoes that were cooked perfectly for our taste. The veggies were not under cooked, a big plus for us.
The Corvina was so savory. It is hard to put into words the way this fish just melts in your mouth. The herbs and spices used were perfect. I opted for the rice pilaf and I'm glad I did. It really was a nice addition to the fish.
I really appreciate the portions we were served as we still had room for dessert! We got the 3 layer chocolate cake which was served with a mixed berry sauce. If you like chocolate cake, you have to get this! If I could have changed anything about this cake, it would have been to omit the mini chips used on the side of the cake. The frosting on top was so rich and creamy I would have like this on the entire cake, but I'm sure that is my personal taste.
We were also impressed with our wine selections. We want to catch the wine dinner the next time they offer it.

The chef at Wyld Thyme focuses on quality, not quantity, which is a rare thing in a town that has a lot of corporate restaurants that are more about numbers than people. I love knowing that when I go there, they will remember my name, what I like, and treat me more like a friend than a customer. The quality of food and service is not surpassed by any other restaurant in Winchester as far as I am concerned.

Of course I could say we just love it at Wyld Thyme! Wyld Thyme is truly the best kept secret in Winchester. A small cafe on the edge of town with a delightful atmosphere. This is our place where the food is always fabulous and the wine is exceptional. Please stop and share a dining experience with these wonderful people it is like no other in the Valley.

I have eaten here on a few occassions and everything has been wonderful. The food has always been of great quality and we have never been disappointed. I usually get the chicken marsala, but my husband is addicted to the shrimp and corn cake appetizer and the homemade desserts. You should definitely give this place a try.

My wife and I just went to this place. It has a nice quiet ambiance, sorta like a French Bistro. Very laid back. The food was good. She had the special which was pork chops with an apricot sauce. It was wonderful. I had the Steak Diane with a Mushroom wine glaze. The Steak was mediocre, just steak, however the the mushrooms on top were to die for. The next time I'm there I'm gonna ask them to hold the steak and give me a plate full of mushrooms. The steamed veggie side was ok. The mashed potatoes were garlic, but were dry. They needed a dash of nutmeg, I think, and a bit more cream. Overall the place was good though, a bit expensive for everyday, but nice on an occasion.

You really should check out this little place. I will agree that it is a touch on the pricy side but I think it's totally worth it for the atmosphere, the nice people and the good honest food. It's not totally sweep you off your feet amazing but's it's still very good. Some of their appetizers (The Mediterranean Plate and Shrmip w/ Black Bean cakes) are big enough you can have them as a light meal--they're really great.

I really hate to bash a mom and pop joint in Winchester because I would much prefer having more of them rather than all the chains that continue to bombard the area.
My husband took me here for my birthday and the service was wonderful. However, when I noticed the dinner prices, I expected my meal to rank in par with One Block West or Villiage Square, but that didn't happen. I was disappointed. I really don't think the menu is worth the price.
