Breakfast is good. The fried oysters were incredible UNTIL I had some a couple of weeks ago. I think the guy cooking them didn't wait for the oil to get hot enough and as a result, I got oysters whose breading was greasy and falling off all over the place. I've never had that happen in there before. Also, the parslied potatoes were sitting in some kind of liquid and they were pretty gross. I had to send them back. Today my family took advantage of their Tots Tuesday special. This special allows for 99 cent kids meal for each adult dinner ordered. For our family of five, we got out paying $26 and this included tax and tip! By the way, my dinner was the hot meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, pickled beets and a dinner roll (all for just $6.50!!). I go to other places and they are just to expensive and you are limited on sides. Here you have tons of options and it's all homemade. I read the other reviews and I don't get where people are saying they are pricing themselves out of the market. My wife and I ate there for under 17.00 and that was including desert. At some other places that would have been 30.00. I have been going there for over 20 years, I have seen other reviews citing the health voilation, this is a point that will make me think about going somewhere else to eat. The service is usually very good, however one or two of the servers need to remember that the customer is their to be served first and then you get the tip!!!!!
