My veal was delicious. The others had pasta and really enjoyed their meals too. Even the salad was good - fresh and crisp and contained radishes, red cabbage, etc...things that some restaurants do not include in their salads. This was the worst "Italian" food I've ever had. It should really just be called American food. I had to laugh at how bad the food was. If you aren't a pickys eater then you might like it. Big YUCK! I gave it a second chance, thinking we maybe hit it on an off day before, but NOPE....still gross. Since the Owner (Dominick) has backed away the food is horrible and the service is the worst I've ever experienced - anywhere. I gave this resturant several chances over the last year since it used to be so good. The accordion player was gracious as usual and always a treat. I chose to deviate from my usual Chicken Picatta with a side of fettucine alfredo and get the Veal with eggplant. The veal was tough in places and the eggplant was overdone, however the meal overall was very nice. I will just stick to my old faithful in the future. My husband had the Chicken Fradiovolo and it was spectacular. One of our children had the ravioli and complained that several were burnt. Another child had the pizza which was delicious and another had the chicken alfredo which is always good. Our server was a bit slow considering they were not busy for a Friday night, so I believe the only complaint we would have is that the service and food is inconsistent. The atmosphere is great here, the waitresses can be a little slow, the hispanic ladies are always great if you can get them. There is a gentleman that plays the accordian at dinner time. You can order anything on the menu and its going to be good. The food is always good, but the service varies by server. The gentleman with dark hair and glasses that waits tables is in the wrong line of work. I have had him the past two visits. His attitude and lack of coming back to the table makes him a less than average waiter.
