My mother, sister, and I decided we'd try it (which was a bad idea from the start once we noticed no customers in there). It cost us nearly $60 for 3 water bottles and 3 meals. The vegetables served with our food tasted like tomato sauce and mushy, old vegetables. It was gross. The chicken was barely grilled and seemed old! I will never go back. I shouldve played it safe and had chik-fil-a. When I got in there I did not know what to get because they have so much where to choose from.. But I got these chicken curry. It was delicious, its tender meat on top of rice and chick peas. Its pretty good! I tried the Chicken Kabob with rice and vegetables, and it was really delicious. It sparked my mouth. Then, i tried their Mango Italian Ice and it tasted so good. I must say, it was very good. Everything was very tasty. Also, my girlfriend had the lamb kabob and she liked it a lot. BIG disappointment! 14 bucks for 5 small pieces of lamb that tasted okay but the other toppings had no flavor - except for the especially strong dill taste of the cucumber sauce - not a big fan. Our meal came to $33 with our 2 two drinks and I wish we would have gone someplace else. It's not Indian food, it's Afghan. They also serve gyros and some other things, but I can't comment on those, because I always have one of the Afghan kabob plates, usually chicken, served with basmati rice, salad with yogurt dressing and chickpeas. It's best when the owner (who is from Afghanistan, though he speaks perfect English) cooks. It's reasonably priced and I enjoy eating there everytime I go there which is quite often. This place is a total ripoff. I spent 12 bucks for 5 tiny pieces of chewy lamb, a few pieces of lettuce and a small bed of rice. You'd think they would at least try to load you up on the rice. Not here friends! The manager/ owner asked me how my meal was. I told him "a whole lot of money for a little bit of lousy food. He laughed and walked away. Please don't believe that crap that others have written about it being more than McDonalds because it's better. I eat in excellent gourmet restaurants several times a year. I don't know how the last reviewer could say it is over priced unless he is comparing it to McD's. Wonderful chicken kabob is what my son and I always get along with fresh salad with a yogurt dressing plus deliscious chickpeas in a GREAT sauce. I would have given 5 stars if they served freshly baked afghan bread. That is all you'll be doing when you go here, Me and my girlfriend went for lunch on Saturday it was $30 for the two of us and I got a chicken kabob and a pathetic looking salad, she got an even sadder looking Greek salad which they put ranch dressing on and two small drinks and that was $30! It took 20 minutes for the food and when it finally got to the table half of it was wrong, there was one guy that didn't have any clue what was going on running the register, cooking, serving and cleaning up after people. We watched 4 people turn around and leave that were waiting to order as he was in the back trying to cook and 3 other couples that turned around and left after they seen the prices. Which is what we should of done also! the food was mediocre at best and nothing to write home to mom about.
