I think the candle they cook with burned out and we certainly didn't get hydrated while waiting!! BAD SERVICE. http://www.wincfood.com/ April 24, 2009 Applebee's - Vote 4 - My first visit the service was non-existent but, in all fairness, they had recently opened. I complained and got a $25 gift card. If you have a problem, voice your concern - they will try to make it right and it helps them to know what needs to be changed and improved. Have returned several times since. Service has occasionally been on the slow side but not bad and the food has been very good. Absolutely horrible!!! I will never go back. It is the smoke that makes this place worth avoiding. Smell your clothes when you leave. They will stink of cigarette smoke. Upon my return home from applebees my kids took one sniff of my coat and accused me of smoking cigarettes. The dining room is filled with smoke, service is rude, and the food is just plain and slopped together. I'd rather go to McDonald's if that tells you anything.
