Your staff if always friendly and now that we are regulars they have remembered our order each time we come in. Not so much anymore. We've tried about 2-3 times over the past few months in hopes of a better experience - no dice. Both service and food were bad. Being in the restaurant business I realize may make me a little more critical, but we were really disappointed. Server (strawberry/red hair) seemed indifferent about her position there. Not rude, but no personality, very dry and to the point. A smile would have been nice. Food obviously microwaved, bland and lacked any flavor. I never send food back and I had to this time. She never asked why or what was wrong - just said okay - and asked what else I wanted without offering menu, suggestions or even an apology. And a manager never came to inquire what was wrong or even to deliver my new dinner. Unfortunately, I've been getting the same reports from friends of poor service and food. This ranks as some of the best itailan food I have ever experienced; however, the wait staff is not friendly at all. Over the past couple months I have eaten at Cantina D' Italia a number of times. Each time I had a different person wait on me. Their personalities left much to be desired. We've been eating there for years. When ever we have out of town visitors we take them there and have had nothing but accolades from them. The salads were fine (there were 10 of us), the entrees were delicious and sizable, and the wait staff attentive and curteous. This has been a solid restaurant every time I've gone.
