The Naked Oyster - Vote 2 - The owner is very knowledgable about what she offers in her establishment, but we ordered a dozen hardshell crabs to take home, paid close to $50.00 for them, and over half of them were rotten.

For this price, they need to improve on this or we wouldn't go back!

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - The food here is fantastic, but don't expect anything quick when they are busy. There is only one cook (the owner) and she does everything up from scracth. Yes the food is pricey, but it is worth it!

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - We bought 3 dozen steamed crabs today and I have to say they were the best crabs I've had since I moved up here from Baltimore over 10 years ago! They had the perfect amount of seasoning and they weren't over steamed and mushy.

There were a couple of "light" crabs but I was given a couple extra just in case so it didn't really matter.
We ordered the medium for $30 a dozen and while I think they were a bit small, most were packed with meat.

The owner is on par with some of the best crab places in Baltimore!
So happy to have found this place and will be visiting it often.

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - We just returned home from our first foray to The Naked Oyster. The owner really knows her seafood and makes sure it is fresh, fresh, fresh. Her pan seared oysters and scallops are to die for. The jumbo lump crab cake rivals anything in the Delmarva. Her chowda' of the day was a crab, apple smoked bacon, red potato and roasted jalapeno concoction that was outstanding. We shared a pint and it was so dang good we bought a quart to take home after the meal. The only negative is that the "dining room" is tiny and you have to make do with plastic ware. The prices are average for quality prepared seafood. If you live nearby, get it to go if you want linen tablecloths and silverware. The seafood in the case looked very fresh and there was a steady stream of customers coming in to purchase and prepare at home. This little gem is worth the drive and the price, just don't look for elegance in the dining area.

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - great place!! I urge them to send out an email on the days that they are open with what is in, the price and their food specials for the day - I think they would get a lot more business - I don't want them to go anywhere!!

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - Crab season is just starting. Went by last night for some hardshells, which were sweet and very full of meat, would definitely recommend.

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - I love the food at this seafood restaurant and plan to go back. You can get seafood most places but do you get "fresh seafood"? They drive to Baltimore Harbor two times a week to pick up the fresh seafood and that is why it is a little pricer than other places but you get what you pay for.

The Naked Oyster - Vote 5 - Like everyone else said, the Seafood is VERY FRESH!!! It might seem more expensive, but when you consider the quality, and the fact that there is no where else in Winchester that sells fresh Seafood, I think it's a steal!
