The food was bland and tasteless. I had the Hunan Chicken, a spicy dish. Not flavor at all, not only that the chicken was a mushy mess. My wife had a similar experience with her meal. My daughter, who will tell you that she likes bland food, loved her meal. The Hot and Sour soup was tasty, service very good, very clean, friendly staff and the food look outstanding. The only weakness was the taste of the food. Too bad. The choices were slim and not fresh and they didn't bring more out until the item was completely gone. Went back once more to give them another chance and actual ordered a meal, the egg rolls were nasty and everything else was edible but nothing was "good" I won't be back and will not recommend it to anyone. We have had excellent Chinese food over the years from Chinatown in DC. This is better than the best we have found. The orange beef was delicious and great flavor. The beef lo mein was moist and very fresh. Great Flavor. Fried Dumplings were the best we ever had. Egg rolls were fresh and delicious. Don't confuse this place with China Garden. China Dragon is a restaurant/take-out in the Martin's shopping center. China Garden is next to Food Lion and I consider it to be like Chinese McDonalds.
